Android smshare 1.1.1 is out

This new version supports devices with small screen like HTC Wildfire. A preferences menu has been added.



You can now choose the refresh interval. This is the frequency at which the application connects to smshare server to check if there is new sms awaiting delivery.



By default, the refresh interval is set to 2 minutes which is a good value that save the battery life and keep the application reactive. But you can choose any value.



Remember: the smaller interval, the more battery life will be used.

Extension smshare 1.0 for Google Chrome is out!

This new version of Google Chrome extension: smshare, includes many improvements and bug fixes.

Here is a summary of its new features:

• Status detection of the Android application smshare on your smartphone

  If the application is not running or if the phone has no Internet connection (3G or WiFi), then a small icon (!) appears below the smshare icon (in the Chrome extension language, this is called a badge).

  When you pass the mouse over the badge, a message is displayed to tell you more information about the smartphone status.
  

  Icon animation (rotation)

  When the Google Chrome smshare extension asks the smshare server about the status of the smshare Android application, you will see an animation (rotation).

  Internationalization and some visual enhancements

  Smshare extension is now available both in English and French.

If you have installed smshare before, it will update automatically a few moments after you’ve launched Google Chrome.
